Aesthetic Meat Front celebrates 10 years of Public Deprogramming Rituals with a new Release. to be released on Old Europa Cafe / AMF Records. "Temple of Flesh" is based on an Invocation of Rapture from A-M-F's "Blood Sun Rising" Rituals (2003-004). The text of this invocation has been translated into 12 languages, and sculpted into a dark electronic abyss. Ritual drones are the framework for haunting invocations and chants, which are supported by the seductive mantras of Zaskia Morgan. Bombastic drums and instruments connected with hooks into the skin of the ritual participants are also sound sources for this release. As with all A-M-F releases there is also an extremely limited collectors edition "Flesh Box" $54,- Including all the above plus scripts from public rituals, and propaganda posters socked in cow blood, skull and bone fragments and other remains from previous rituals. Yet most intriguing part of the Flesh Box is a surprise of un-released material from the A-M-F archives, such as original video tapes from early A-M-F rituals, cdrs with, raw sound sources, cassette tapes, and floppy discs of songs and sounds. All this is packaged in a wound covered skin jacket, hand sculpted by Louis Fleischauer. Each Flesh Box will be unique and include different original material from the A-M-F archives. Limited to 27

Embalmer Tapes (dissected) - CDR

In autumn 2000 a mortician, whose identity we shall not unveil, was given a mini tape-recorder to document an embalming session of his/her choice. Only 2 requests were made of the embalmer :

1) to record everything from open "the freezer" till closing the lid
2) to forget about the tape. The result was 68 minutes of raw sound.

Those 68 minutes were the sole sound source for Embalmer Tapes, Louis Fleischauer together with R|A|A|N dissected, sliced and reconstructed this recording into an eerie soundscape of post-mortem ambience. Embalmer Tapes is a sonique exploration of cold flesh. By only using sounds from the original embalming tape, AMF captured the unsettling atmosphere of the prep-room. Let the dead not be forgotten, may they live amongst us through sonic energy. "There is only hope in Oblivion, Oblivion, Oblivion ..."

The raw material for tracks 2 and 3 is taken from “Pure Kaos Against Total Control”
- a public deprogramming ritual, performed in London in
November of 2001. The smell of fear and burning flesh filled the air. Needles
penetrated my head and hooks pierced the skin of my back. The taste of
noise and pain laid on my chanting tongue. I’m a piece of meat,
hanging from hooks above the ground. I’m past the point of agony, I’m dead, no
longer, blood streaming down my face, I have become the Phoenix. The
focus of this recording was to capture this moment of transformation by
painting a sonique landscape that reflects my experience and interpretation of the
Bird Of Oblivion.
Other sounds used in this recording are samples of human bone and the
removal of flesh, blood, as well a variety of samples taken from
unconventional instruments that have been refined at the studio.
